White House visits

The Embassy of Belgium is unable to facilitate tours of the White House.

Previously, embassies arranged White House tours for foreign nationals in conjunction with the U.S. Department of State. However, that program was cancelled in 2011. Although the White House and National Park Service websites direct foreign citizens to contact their embassy, opportunities for private tours are very limited and the U.S. Department of State requires foreigners to be personally accompanied by the Ambassador or Deputy Chief of Mission.  Unfortunately, due to our limited time and resources, we cannot arrange White House tours for Belgian citizens.

Since public tours of the White House are not available, you may wish to explore alternative White House experiences such as a visit to the White House Visitor Center or take a virtual tour. Further details can be found on the White House website: https://www.whitehouse.gov/.

We wish you a pleasant stay in Washington D.C.
